Privacy policy
This policy explains what information the Pothole game collects, why, and your rights (Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA).

What we collect and why
- Email: login, account confirmation, password reset, receipts.
- First and last name: identify the account holder and handle a request (access, purchase dispute).
- Province and date of birth: check the legal age. If you are under age, nothing is kept.
- Nickname: shown on the leaderboard instead of your name.
- Password: stored only in hashed form (argon2id).
- Games and tokens: run the game and leaderboard, and prove fairness.
- Consents: the exact text accepted, its version and date.
We never sell information. Promotional email is only sent with your separate consent (optional box), which you can withdraw at any time in “My account”.
Where and how long
- Data is hosted on our server in Canada or the United States. Email goes through Google Workspace.
- Active account: as long as it exists. Unconfirmed account: deleted after 30 days.
- When you delete your account, personal information is erased. The token history is kept without any link to your identity, for statistics and possible purchase disputes.
Your rights
Access, correction, withdrawal of consent and deletion. You can delete your account yourself in “My account”, or write to [email protected]. You can also complain to Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
Cookies
One essential cookie, “ndp_s”, keeps you logged in (30 days). Game preferences (sound, bet, last games) stay in your browser. No advertising cookies.
