Privacy policy

Effective September 23, 2026. Written under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

1. Who we are

SVRNG Play (svrngplay.ca) is operated by Giroux Sovereign Tech Fin-Legal Inc., incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (federal corporation no. 1774943-1), Canada.

2. What we collect

Newsletter: your email, chosen language, sign-up page, date and time of consent, and the IP address and browser used at that moment (those last three solely as proof of consent).
Audience measurement — only if you turn it on: Google Analytics collects cookie identifiers, pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
Clicks to operators: our server logs the date, link clicked, originating page and browser type — no IP address is kept in this log.
Technical logs: like any web server, ours briefly keeps access logs (including IP) for security and operation.
Correspondence: what you send us by email.

We collect no financial information or ID documents. Your account, deposits and withdrawals happen entirely with the operator.

3. Why we use it

To send the newsletter you signed up for, and prove your consent.
To measure traffic and improve the site, if you consent.
To measure clicks to operators for our affiliate agreements (aggregated, non-nominative).
To keep the site secure.
To answer your requests.

We make no decisions based exclusively on automated processing and do no advertising profiling.

Audience measurement is off by default. It only turns on if you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Newsletter consent is requested separately, through an unchecked box, then confirmed through an emailed link. Details: Cookie policy.

Casino operators: we share no personal information with them. When you click an offer you leave our site; the link carries only a campaign identifier, and the operator's own policy applies.
Service providers: our host, our email delivery service, and Google (Analytics) if you turn it on — each bound by an agreement covering confidentiality.
We never sell or rent personal information.

6. Transfers outside Québec

The site is hosted on a server in Canada. If you enable audience measurement, data is processed by Google, including in the United States. Before any transfer of personal information outside Québec, we carry out a privacy impact assessment as the law requires.

7. Retention

Newsletter: while you're subscribed; after unsubscribing, only proof of consent is kept for up to 3 years, then destroyed.
Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted after 30 days.
Google Analytics: 14 months.
Server logs: 30 days.

8. Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), need-to-know access, database on our own server. For any confidentiality incident posing a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and affected people, and we keep an incident register.

9. Your rights

Access your information and get a copy, including in a structured, commonly used technological format;
have it corrected;
withdraw consent (e.g. by unsubscribing);
request that dissemination stop or de-indexing, where the law provides;
file a complaint with Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Write to the person in charge at the address above. We reply within 30 days.

10. Visitor reviews

If you post a review of SVRNG Play, we collect your rating, nickname, province and comment, which are published after moderation, plus an irreversible hashed fingerprint of your IP address, kept only to prevent abuse (one review per day). You may also optionally provide your email address: it's never published or used for the newsletter or any other commercial communication; with your explicit consent, it's used only to contact you about your review if needed. Your review stays published until you ask for its removal; write to us to have it deleted.

11. Minors

The site is for people who've reached their province's legal gambling age (18 or 19, depending on the province). We don't knowingly collect information about minors; if we learn a minor subscribed, the address is deleted.

12. Changes

Changes are posted here with their effective date; significant ones are announced to newsletter subscribers.
