Pothole Referrals

What each of you gets

So your friend starts with 12,500 tokens instead of 10,000. Like all tokens, referral tokens have no monetary value and are never withdrawn.

Where to find your link

1. In the game, open My account.
2. The "Invite your friends" card shows your personal link. Tap it to copy it.
3. The "Share my link" button opens your phone's share sheet (texts, Messenger, email…). On a computer, it copies the link.

Your link looks like svrngplay.ca/en/pothole/?ref=ABC234: a 6-character code that's yours and doesn't change. The same card shows how many friends have confirmed their email and how many tokens referrals have earned you.

How it goes for your friend

1. They open your link. Their browser remembers the code.
2. They create their account in that same browser. If they open the link on their phone and sign up on a computer, the code doesn't follow.
3. They confirm their email with the link they receive (valid 48 hours; they can ask for a new one). That's when you both get your tokens.

Referrals can't be added afterwards: an account created without your link can't be tied to you.

Limits and rules

• 20 rewards per month (calendar month, Montréal time). Beyond that your friend still gets their 2,500 tokens, but you get nothing more that month. The counter restarts on the 1st of the next month.
• No self-referral. Your own code doesn't work on your account, and a deleted account's code stops working.
• One account per person. The terms of use forbid multiple accounts; SVRNG Play can correct a balance or close an account that breaks them. Creating fake accounts to refer yourself falls under that rule.
• The legal age applies to your friend: 18 in Québec, Alberta and Manitoba, 19 elsewhere. Sign-up is refused below that.

Invite, yes; push, no

Invite people who enjoy this kind of game, and tell them the truth: it's a crash game with tokens that have no value, free to play with optional purchases. Nobody wins money. Don't chase someone who said no, and don't share your link with a minor or with someone who struggles with gambling.

Referrals are just one way to get tokens without paying; the daily bonus and tiers give far more over time. It's all summed up on the free tokens page, and promotions only apply to stacks.
