Pothole is free to play, with optional purchases. Tokens have no value: they're never exchanged for money, a prize or a gift, and can't be transferred to another player. So there's nothing to "win back". A game of chance is still a game of chance, even with tokens, and you can spend more time or money on it than you meant to.
